Reeder Ranch Educational Tour ca. 2009

Educational Tours: To provide education and outreach for the Reeder Ranch, the George C. and Hazel H. Reeder Heritage Foundation partnered with the City of Montclair After School Program and the Ontario-Montclair School district during the 2008-09 school year to present "Coming to Montclair," a program funded in part by the California Council for the Humanities. The project provided twelve weeks of instruction to 45 fourth grade Montclair students, about local history and the Reeder Family. The students visited the Reeder Ranch for a tour of the orange grove and home with Ginger Eaton, the Vice Chair of the Reeder Foundation.

The Foundation is committed to providing educational programs to help teach students about the rich cultural and historical background of the Reeder Ranch, and its connection to the Citrus Industry.
